Privacy Policy

Secure AI for iOS and iPadOS. Last updated 23 September 2026.

The short version

Secure AI generates every answer on your device using the language model built into iOS. Your chats, the documents you open and the photos you share stay on your device. We do not run a server for the app, we have no account system, and we use no analytics SDK. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob; they are not personalized, and they never see your chats.

What stays on your device

• Chats, messages and per-chat instructions, stored in the app's private container and protected by the system's data protection.
• Documents you attach (PDF, text, Markdown, CSV, JSON) and the text extracted from them.
• Photos you pick, their extracted text and a small thumbnail. The app uses the system photo picker and never reads your photo library.
• Your settings and the daily usage counters that implement the free plan's limits.

Backups you export are files you control. If you protect one with a passphrase, it is encrypted on your device before it is written; we cannot recover a lost passphrase.

Network activity

The app makes three kinds of network requests:

• Links you share into the app. When you share a web link, the app downloads that page once so you can ask about it. That request goes to the website you chose, from your device, like a browser would.
• Purchases. Subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are processed by Apple and validated through RevenueCat, our purchases service provider. RevenueCat receives the App Store receipt and an anonymous, random app user identifier; it does not receive your chats, documents or photos. RevenueCat's privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
• Ads on the free plan. Google AdMob serves a small banner and, if you choose, a rewarded video. We request non-personalized ads only and never ask for tracking permission. To serve and count ads Google receives your IP address (which gives an approximate location), device identifiers and information about the ad shown; it does not receive anything you type or attach. In the EEA and UK you are asked for consent first and can change it any time in Settings › Privacy › Ad privacy options. Google's privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy. Secure AI Pro removes all ads.

If a future version offers cloud answers, they will be opt-in per chat, every answer will say where it ran, and this policy will be updated first.

Spotlight and Siri

By default the app lets Spotlight index chat titles so you can find them from the Home Screen. You can turn this off, or include answers, in Settings › Privacy. This index lives on your device. When you use "Ask Secure AI" with Siri or Shortcuts, your question is answered on device and saved as a chat.

App Store privacy labels

Purchase history (app functionality), and for the free plan's ads: approximate location, device identifiers, advertising data and product interaction (third-party advertising), plus diagnostics. None of it is linked to your identity or used for tracking. Your chats, documents and photos are never collected.

This website

This website (secure.chineseman.net, also at secure.chinesepowered.com) shows ads through Google AdSense. This applies to the website only; the app's ads are the AdMob ads described above. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other sites.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.

Children

Secure AI is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
